So we watched this movie by Feo Aladag, entitled When We Leave, whose main actress is a Turkish ex-porn star, Sibel Kekilli.
I am not sure what the title is supposed to mean, but I was very glad when we leave the theater.
The movie was a 2 hour long drama about a Moslem, Turkish woman who left her abusive husband to find her own freedom.
However, her strictly traditional family rejected her for having left her husband and thus ruining the family honor.
First of all, I have seen this type of story so many times and and the movie was full of scenes with people gazing out or having deep thought without any dialogue or even a narration.
It was plain boring; I was not even sure how it got 7.7 rating on imdb
The only consolation was that I fouind this link to the hot actress steamy movie.
